UFC on Fox: Poirier vs Gaethje Odds

After a wild weekend full of cancellations last week, the UFC looks to return to some normalcy this weekend when it heads to Glendale, Arizona for UFC on Fox 29: Poirier vs Gaethje.

The main event this weekend is a lightweight fight between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje. At Bovada Sportsbook, Poirier is a -135 favorite and Gaethje a +105 underdog.

Poirier is 22-5 and one no contest with 11 wins by KO, and he’s posted a record of 6-1 and one no contest in his last eight fights. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 120 in November when he defeated Anthony Pettis by TKO as a -135 favorite.

Gaethje is 18-1 with 15 wins by KO and is coming off the first loss of his MMA career. That defeat came at UFC 218 in December as he lost to Eddie Alvarez by KO as a -200 favorite.

Also on the fight card this weekend is a welterweight bout between Carlos Condit and Alex Oliveira. At Bovada Sportsbook, Oliveira is a -200 favorite and Condit a +160 underdog. Both fighters are coming off upset losses.

Oliveira is 18-4-1 and two no contests, with 11 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 218 in December where he lost to Yancy Medeiros by TKO as a -395 favorite.

Condit has lost three straight fights and four of his last five to drop his record to 30-11 with 15 wins by KO and 13 by submission. His last fight was at UFC 219 in December where he lost to Neil Magny by unanimous decision as a -185 favorite.

One other notable fight on this weekend’s card is a middleweight tilt between Marvin Vettori and Israel Adesanya. Adesanya is a -230 favorite and Vettori a +180 underdog.

Adesanya is undefeated in his MMA career at 12-0 with all 12 wins coming by KO. He last fought at UFC 221 in February where he defeated Rob Wilkinson by TKO as a -400 favorite.

Vettori is 12-3-1 with two wins by KO and eight by submission. His last fight was at UFC 219 in December where he fought Omari Akhmedov to a majority draw with the judges scoring the fight 28-28, 29-28 and 28-28. Vettori was a -300 favorite in the fight.
