UFC Fight Night: Weidman vs. Gastelum Odds

Two fighters in desperate need of a win meet up this weekend in the main event of UFC on Fox 25: Weidman vs. Gastelum. The main event is a middleweight bout between former UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman and Kelvin Gastelum.

The fight odds at the Bovada Sportsbook have Gastelum listed as a -150 favorite, while Weidman is a +120 underdog.

Gastelum is 13-2 and one no contest with five wins by knockout and four by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 106 in March where he fought to a no contest versus Vitor Belfort. Gastelum originally won the fight by TKO, but it was changed to no contest after he tested positive for marijuana.

The positive test also caused a scheduled fight between Gastelum and Anderson Silva at UFC 212 to be cancelled.

Weidman has lost his last three fights, all by KO. That has dropped his record to 13-3 with six wins by KO. He last fought at UFC 210 in April and lost to Gegard Mousasi by TKO in the second round.

Also on the UFC on Fox 25 main card is a featherweight bout between Dennis Bermudez and Darren Elkins. At the Bovada Sportsbook Bermudez is a strong favorite at -235, while Elkins is a +185 underdog.

Bermudez may be the favorite, but he is only 2-3 in his last five fights. Overall, he is 16-6 with four wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 104 in February where he lost to Chan Sung Jung by KO in the opening round.

Elkins is on a nice run, having won his last four fights. He is 22-5 with eight wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC 209 in March and defeated Mirsad Bektic by KO in the third round.

A light heavyweight bout also appears on the UFC on Fox 25 main card, with Patrick Cummins and Gian Villante slated to clash. The oddsmakers are giving Cummins a slight edge at -120, while Villante checks in at -110.

Both fighters are 2-3 in their last five fights. Cummins enters the bout at 9-4 with four wins by KO. His last fight was at UFC 210 in April where he defeated Jan Blachowicz by majority decision.

Villante is 15-8 with 10 wins by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 106 in March and lost to Mauricio Rua by TKO in the third round.
