The UFC will set up shop at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday night for UFC Fight Night 108: Swanson vs. Lobov. The main event on the fight card is a featherweight bout between Cub Swanson and Artem Lobov.
At the Bovada Sportsbook they’re expecting Swanson to easily win after listing him as a -600 favorite. Lobov checks in as a +400 underdog.
Swanson enters the fight with a 24-7 record, with eight wins by knockout and seven by submission. He’s won his last three fights and owns a 9-2 record in his last 11. He last fought at UFC 206 in December and defeated Doo Ho Choi by unanimous decision.
Lobov is 13-12-1 with one no-contest, with four wins by KO. He is 4-2-1 in his last seven fights, and is coming off a win in his last bout at UFC Fight Night 99 in November where he defeated Teruto Ishihara by unanimous decision.
Also on the main card Saturday night is a lightweight bout between Al Iaquinta and Diego Sanchez. Iaquinta is a -380 favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook, while Sanchez is a heavy underdog at +290.
Iaquinta is 12-3-1 with six wins by knockout. He’s won his last four fights and seven of his last eight. Due to a contract dispute it’s been quite awhile since Iaquinta has stepped into the octagon. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 62 in April 2015. He defeated Jorge Masvidal that night by split decision.
Sanchez is 27-9 with six wins by KO and nine by submission, but has hit a rough streak lately, going 4-5 in his last nine fights. He did win his last fight, defeating Marcin Held by unanimous decision at The Ultimate Fighter Finale in November.
One other fight getting bettors' attention this weekend is a light heavyweight tilt between Ovince Saint Preux and Marcos Rogerio de Lima. Preux is a -170 favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook while Rogerio de Lima is a +140 underdog.
Preux is 19-10 with 10 wins by KO. He’s lost three straight fights and only has one win in his last five. He lost to Volkan Oezdemir by split decision at UFC Fight Night 104 in February.
Rogerio de Lima is 15-4-1 with 11 wins by KO. He hasn’t posted back-to-back wins since 2014, which may be bad news since he defeated Jeremy Kimball by TKO in his last fight at UFC on Fox 23 in January.
