UFC Fight Night: Silva vs Bisping Odds

Since entering the UFC Michael Bisping has gone 6-0 when fighting in his native United Kingdom. This weekend he will look to keep that trend going against one of the best MMA fighters in the history of the sport when he steps into the Octagon in London against former Middleweight champ Anderson Silva at UFC Fight Night 84.

He will have to beat the odds to do so, as handicappers at Bovada have him listed as the +235 underdog.

Bisping has wanted this fight for many years and will surely be motivated to get this career-defining win, but it’s tough to imagine a way that he could beat Silva when one considers fighting styles. We expect that Silva will either out-point Bisping for the decision win or he will land a heavy strike that will end the fight in his favor. Silva should be money as the -305 Bovada favorite at UFC Fight Night 84.

The co-main event will also feature a couple of Middleweights looking to improve their position within the division. Gegard Mousasi is a heavy -325 Bovada favorite to beat Thales Leites, who is currently paying +255. Both are coming off losses and will need a win to remain relevant at 185 pounds. We think that this fight offers one of the best upset opportunities on the card, mainly because Mousasi hasn’t been a motivated fighter of late.

Leites was on an eight-fight win streak before losing in his last outing and will have a huge edge if the fight goes to the ground at any point.

If you have the bankroll to take advantage of the Tom Breese vs. Keita Nakamura fight, Bovada has a -1000 offering on Breese. This fight should be quick and violent, like most Breese fights, and will likely be over within the first minute or two. The price on Breese has steadily climbed from -700 to -1000, so you might want to get in on the action sooner than later.

Keep your eye out for the Bovada prop offering as the fight nears, we’re waiting to load up on the Breese wins in the first round option.
