UFC Fight Night: Rockhold vs. Branch Odds

The UFC invades the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh this weekend for UFC Fight Night 116: Rockhold vs Branch. The main event this weekend is a middleweight bout between Luke Rockhold and David Branch. At Bovada Sportsbook, Rockhold is a heavy favorite at -450, while Branch is being listed as a +325 underdog.

Rockhold, the former UFC middleweight champ, enters the bout with a 15-3 record with four wins by knockout and nine by submission. His last fight was at UFC 199 in June 2016 where he lost the middleweight title after a first-round KO to Michael Bisping. Rockhold was a -900 favorite in the loss, which snapped a five-fight winning streak.

Branch has an 11-fight winning streak going and owns a 21-3 record with five wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC 211 in May where he defeated Krzysztof Jotko by split decision as a +125 underdog.

The main card also includes a welterweight bout between Mike Perry and Thiago Alves. At Bovada Sportsbook, Perry is a -160 favorite and Alves is a +130 underdog.

Perry is 10-1 with all 10 of his victories coming by KO. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 108 in April where he defeated Jake Ellenberger by KO in the second round as a -185 favorite.

Alves is only 3-3 in his last six fights and owns a 22-11 record with 12 wins by KO and two by submission. His last fight was at UFC 210 where he defeated Patrick Cote by unanimous decision as a +105 underdog.

One of the tougher bouts to call this weekend could be a middleweight fight between Hector Lombard and Anthony Smith. Smith is a tiny favorite at -120, while Lombard checks in at -110.

Smith is 27-12 with 13 wins by KO and 11 by submission. He last fought at UFC on Fox 24 in April and defeated Andrew Sanchez by KO as a +160 underdog.

Lombard has lost his last three fights and hasn’t posted a win since 2014. His record stands at 34-7-1 and two no contests, with 19 wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 105 in February and lost to Johny Hendicks by unanimous decision as a -135 favorite.
