UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs Pettis Odds

The UFC heads to Norfolk, Virginia this weekend for UFC Fight Night 120: Poirier vs Pettis.

The main event on this weekend’s fight card is a lightweight bout between Dustin Poirier and Anthony Pettis. At Bovada Sportsbook, Pettis is a -135 favorite, while Poirier is a +105 underdog.

Pettis is only 2-4 in his last six fights and owns an overall record of 20-6 with seven wins by knockouts and nine by submission. His last fight was at UFC 213 in July where he defeated Jim Miller by unanimous decision as a -270 favorite.

Poirier is 21-5 with one no contest in his career, with 10 wins by KO and six by submission. He recorded the no contest in his last fight. He faced Eddie Alvarez at UFC 211 in May and the fight was declared a no contest after it was deemed that Alvarez landed illegal knees to Poirier’s head.

Also on the main card at UFC Fight Night 120 is a welterweight fight between Matt Brown and Diego Sanchez. At Bovada Sportsbook, Brown is heavily favored at -300 and Sanchez is a +230 underdog.

Brown may be the favorite but he’s lost his last three fights and is 1-5 in his last six. Overall he owns a 20-16 record with 12 wins by KO and six by submission. He last fought at UFC 206 in December and lost to Donald Cerrone by KO as a +205 underdog.

Sanchez is 3-5 in his last eight fights and overall he’s 29-10 with eight wins by KO and nine by submission. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 108 in April where he lost to Al Iaquinta by KO as a +285 underdog.

One other notable fight on the card this weekend is a heavyweight tilt between Andrei Arlovski and Junior Albini. Albini is a -240 favorite and Arlovski is a +190 underdog.

Albini has won 10 straight fights and sports a record of 14-2 with six wins by KO and six by submission. In his last fight at UFC on Fox 25 in July, he defeated Timothy Johnson by TKO as a +190 underdog.

Arlovski has lost his last five fights and stands at 25-15 and one no contest with 17 wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 111 and lost to Marcin Tybura by unanimous decision as a +165 underdog.
