UFC Fight Night: Pettis vs. Moreno Odds

The UFC heads south of the border to Mexico City this weekend for UFC Fight Night 114: Pettis vs. Moreno. The headliner on the UFC Fight Night 114 main card is a flyweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Brandon Moreno. At the Bovada Sportsbook Moreno is favored at -170, while Pettis is a +140 underdog.

Moreno enters the fight on an 11-fight winning streak. His overall record is 14-3 with one win by knockout and 10 by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 108 in April where he submitted Dustin Ortiz with a rear-naked choke. Moreno was a -115 underdog in that fight.

Pettis has won his last three fights and five of his last six. He is 15-2 with three wins by KO and three by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 103 in January and defeated John Moraga by unanimous decision as a -160 favorite.

Also on the UFC Fight Night 114 main card is a women’s strawweight fight between Randa Markos and Alexa Grasso. At the Bovada Sportsbook Markos is a +125 underdog and Grasso is the favorite at -155.

Grasso is coming off her first loss and stands at 9-1 with four wins by KO. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 104 in February and was defeated by Felice Herrig by unanimous decision. That was a major upset as Grasso was a -390 favorite.

Markos is 7-4 with no wins by KO and three by submission. She’s only 3-3 in her last six fights and hasn’t won back-to-back fights since 2013. She last fought at UFC Fight Night 105 in February and defeated Carla Esparza by split decision as a +200 underdog.

UFC Fight Night 114 could be the last shot in the UFC for former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans. He takes on Sam Alvey in a middleweight bout as a +120 underdog. Alvey is a -150 favorite.

It’s been a tough few years for Evans, who has lost his last three fights and is 2-5 in his last seven. Overall he is 19-6-1 with eight wins by KO. His last fight was at UFC 209 in March where he lost to Daniel Kelly as a -265 favorite.

Alvey is 30-9 and one no contest with 18 wins by KO. He had a four-fight winning streak snapped in his last fight. That fight was at UFC Fight Night 108 in April where he lost to Thales Leites by unanimous decision as a -125 underdog.
