UFC Fight Night: Johnson vs. Reis Odds

It's Saturday night at the fights in Kansas City, Missouri this weekend as the UFC invades the Sprint Center. Headlining the event is a UFC flyweight title bout between long-time champion Demetrius Johnson and challenger Wilson Reis.

To say Johnson is favored at the Bovada Sportsbook would be an understatement, as he is currently listed at -850 to retain the title. Reis is a +525 underdog.

Johnson is so heavily favored because he'll be making his 10th title defense. He's currently riding an 11-fight winning streak and hasn't posted a loss since 2011. He last fought at The Ultimate Fighter finale in December when he defeated Tim Elliott by unanimous decision. That win improved his MMA record to 25-2 and one draw, with five wins by knockout and nine by submission.

Reis is 22-6 with 10 wins by submission and none by KO. He has won his last five fights and is 10-2 in his last 12. He last fought at UFC 208 in February and defeated Ulka Sasaki by unanimous decision.

Also on the fight card is a women's strawweight fight between Rose Namajunas and Michelle Waterson. Namajunas is a small -140 favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook and Waterson is a +110 underdog.

Namajunas is 5-3 with four wins by submission is her short MMA career. In her last fight at UFC 201 in July she lost to Karolina Kowalkiewicz by split decision.

Waterson is 14-4 with nine wins by submission. She last fought in December and defeated Paige Van Zant by submission via rear naked choke in the first round.

Rounding out the notable main card matchups is a middleweight bout between Ronaldo Souza and Robert Whitaker. Souza, a -250 favorite at the Bovada Sportsbook, is 24-4 with 3 wins by KO and 17 by submission. He fought at UFC 208 in February and submitted Tim Boetsch with a Kimura in the first round.

Whittaker is 17-4 with eight wins by KO. He's won his last six fights after defeating Derek Brunson by TKO in the first round at a UFC Fight Night event in November.
