UFC Fight Night: Boetsch vs Henderson Odds

The ageless Dan Henderson returns to the Octagon this week in a battle against Tim Boetsch at UFC Fight Night 68. The main card will also feature interesting Heavyweight and Lightweight matchups as well as an undercard that is stacked with hungry fighters looking to make their mark in their respective divisions.

Dan Henderson has lost five of his last six fights and appears to be well past his prime against the elite of the Middle and Light Heavyweight divisions. Henderson gets a drop in the level of competition he has become accustomed to fighting against Tim Boetsch, but handicappers at Bovada still have him listed as the +155 underdog.

Action on Boetsch to win currently comes with a -190 price and should be worth the risk against an opponent who should have retired two years ago. Look for a KO finish from Boetsch in this fight, likely within the first two rounds.

The co-main event of the UFC Fight Night 68 fight card will feature two Heavyweights in the hunt for the upper echelon of the division rankings. Matt Mitrione is currently a small -190 favorite at Bovada to beat Ben Rothwell, who will currently pay +155 for the upset.

We like the upset option in this one. Both men like to throw strikes but it’s Rothwell who has the ability to take the fight to the ground where he will hold a big edge over his opponent. We like Rothwell in either a KO or a submission victory.

Dustin Poirier will look to bring his winning streak to two straight with a win over Yancy Medeiros at UFC Fight Night 68. Poirier looked impressive in his return to Lightweight last time out and should be able dominate his UFC Fight Night 68 opponent in a standing battle.

Action on Poirier looks like a bargain right now at the current -185 price at Bovada.

As long as Poirier stays on his feet in this fight he should have little problem coming out victorious. If he does find himself on his back the chances of Yancy paying out on the +150 upset option will go way up.
