UFC Fight Night: Bisping vs Gastelum Odds

The UFC ventures to China this weekend for its first event in Shanghai, UFC Fight Night 122: Bisping vs Gastelum.

The main event is a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Kelvin Gastelum. At Bovada Sportsbook, Gastelum is a -300 favorite and Bisping is a +230 underdog.

If it seems like Bisping just fought a few weeks ago, that’s because he did. He climbed into the cage at UFC 217 on November 4 and was beaten by Georges St-Pierre by submission as a -130 underdog, which cost him the UFC middleweight title. That loss dropped his record to 30-8 with 16 wins by knockout and four by submission.

Gastelum enters the bout with a 13-3 record and one no contest, with five wins by KO and four by submission. In his last seven fights, he’s a mediocre 3-3 and one no contest. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 106 in July where he lost to Chris Weidman by submission as a -180 favorite.

Also on the main card in Shanghai is a welterweight bout between Li Jingliang and Zak Ottow. At Bovada Sportsbook, Jingliang is a -185 favorite and Ottow is a +150 underdog.

Jingliang has won his last three fights and owns a lifetime record of 12-4 with four wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 111 in June where he defeated Frank Camacho by unanimous decision as a -550 favorite.

Ottow is 6-1 in his last seven fights and has a lifetime record of 15-4 with two wins by KO and 10 by submission. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 110 in June where he defeated Kiichi Kunimoto by split decision as a -385 favorite.

UFC Fight Night 122 will also see the UFC debut of Wang Guan, as he faces Alex Caceres in a featherweight bout. Caceres is a -160 favorite in the bout and Guan is a +130 underdog.

Caceres is only 3-5 in his last eight fights and he’s 13-10 and one no contest overall, with three wins by KO and five by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 111 in June where he defeated Rolando Gabriel Dy by TKO as a -365 favorite.

Guan makes his UFC debut with a 19-1-1 record, with 11 wins by KO and two by submission. He has won his last seven fights and last fought at a Glory of Heroes event in January where he defeated Ghassan Muhareb by KO.
