UFC 222 Betting: Cyborg vs Kunitskaya Odds

The UFC women’s featherweight title is on the line this weekend when the Octagon returns to Las Vegas for UFC 222: Cyborg vs Kunitskaya.

The main event is the title bout between champion Cris Cyborg and challenger Yana Kunitskaya. Cyborg is a massive -1600 favorite at Bovada Sportsbook, while Kunitskaya checks in as a +800 underdog.

Cyborg has been nearly unstoppable in her MMA career at 19-1 and one no contest, with 16 wins by knockout. She last fought in December at UFC 219 where she made her first successful title defense, defeating Holly Holm by unanimous decision as a -400 favorite.

Kunitskaya will be making her UFC debut with a record of 10-3 and one no contest, with seven wins by KO. The former Invictus FC bantamweight champion last fought at Invictus FC 25 in August when she defeated Raquel Pa’aluhi by unanimous decision as a -110 favorite.

Also on the main card at UFC 222 is a featherweight bout between former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and Brian Ortega. At Bovada Sportsbook, Edgar is a -185 favorite and Ortega is a +150 underdog.

Edgar is 7-1 in his last eight fights and sports an overall record of 22-5-1 with seven wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC 211, defeating Yair Rodriguez by TKO as a -150 favorite.

Ortega is undefeated in his MMA career at 13-0 and one no contest, with two wins by KO and seven by submission. He last fought at UFC Fight Night 123 in December, besting Cub Swanson by submission as a -120 favorite.

One other notable bout on the main card this weekend is a bantamweight fight between Sean O’Malley and Andre Soukhamthath. Soukhamthath is a -130 favorite and O’Malley is the underdog at even money.

Soukhamthath stopped a two-fight losing streak in his last outing to bump his record up to 12-5 with eight wins by KO and three by submission. That fight took place at UFC Fight Night 123 in December where he defeated Luke Sanders by TKO as a +190 underdog.

O’Malley is a perfect 9-0 with six wins by KO. He last fought at The Ultimate Fighter 23 finale in December where he defeated Terrion Ware by unanimous decision as a -315 favorite.
