UFC 218 Betting: Holloway vs Aldo 2 Odds

The UFC featherweight championship will be on the line this weekend as the UFC sets up shop in Detroit for UFC 218: Holloway vs Aldo 2.

The main event at UFC 218 is the featherweight title bout between reigning champion Max Holloway and former champ Jose Aldo. At Bovada Sportsbook, Holloway is the favorite at -300 and Aldo is a +230 underdog.

Holloway heads into the bout on an 11-fight winning streak with a lifetime record of 18-3, including eight wins by KO and two by submission. Aldo has lost two of his last three fights and sits at 26-3 with 14 wins by KO and two by submission.

The last time both fighters stepped into the Octagon was when they faced each other for the first time at UFC 212 in June. That night, Holloway stopped Aldo by TKO in the third round to win the title. In that fight, Aldo was a -195 favorite and Holloway a +120 underdog.

Also on the main card this weekend is a heavyweight tilt between MMA veteran Alistair Overeem and Francis Ngannou. At Bovada Sportsbook, Ngannou is a -240 favorite and Overeem a +190 underdog.

Ngannou has won his last nine fights to improve his record to 10-1 with six wins by KO and four by submission. He last fought at UFC on Fox 23 in January when he defeated Andrei Arlovski by TKO as a -450 favorite.

Overeem is 6-1 in his last seven fights and boasts a record of 43-15 and one no contest, with 19 wins by KO and 19 by submission. His last fight was at UFC 213 in July where he defeated Fabricio Werdum by majority decision as a -160 favorite.

Rounding out our look at UFC 218 is a flyweight bout between Henry Cejudo and Sergio Pettis. Cejudo is a -260 favorite in the fight and Pettis a +200 underdog.

Cejudo is 11-2 with five wins by KO in his MMA career. He last fought at UFC 215 in September and defeated Wilson Reis as a -450 favorite.

Pettis is 16-2 with three wins by KO and three by submission. His last fight was at UFC Fight Night 114 in August where he defeated Brandon Moreno by unanimous decision as a +135 underdog.
