UFC 217 Betting: Bisping vs St-Pierre Odds

Georges St-Pierre makes his long-awaited return to the Octagon this weekend as the UFC invades Madison Square Garden for UFC 217: Bisping vs St-Pierre.

The main event this weekend is a middleweight title bout between champion Michael Bisping and St-Pierre. At Bovada Sportsbook, St-Pierre is a slim favorite at -125, while Bisping is listed at -105.

This will be St-Pierre’s first fight since 2013 when he left the sport and relinquished the welterweight title. He returns with a 12-fight winning streak intact and a lifetime record of 25-2 with eight wins by knockout and five by submission. His last fight was at UFC 167 in November 2013 where he defeated Johny Hendricks by split decision as a -250 favorite.

Bisping will be making his second title defense and sports a record of 30-7 with 16 wins by KO and four by submission. He has won his last five fights and last fought at UFC 203 in October 2016 where he defeated Dan Henderson by unanimous decision as a -280 favorite.

The UFC bantamweight title will also be on the line this weekend when champ Cody Garbrandt takes on challenger T.J. Dillashaw. At Bovada Sportsbook, Garbrandt is a -185 favorite and Dillashaw is a +150 underdog.

Garbrandt is 11-0 with nine wins by KO and will be making his first title defense. He won the title in his last bout at UFC 207 last December when he defeated Dominick Cruz by unanimous decision as a +170 underdog.

Dillashaw formerly held the bantamweight title that he lost to Cruz. He owns a record of 29-3 with 20 wins by KO and last fought at UFC 207 as well where he defeated John Lineker by unanimous decision as a -245 favorite.

There’s one other title fight on the card this week as UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk takes on Rose Namajunas. Jedrzejczyk is a -500 favorite and Namajunas is a +350 underdog.

Jedrzejczyk is undefeated at 14-0 with four wins by KO and one by submission. She has defended her title five times, with the last coming at UFC 211 in May when she defeated Jessica Andrade by unanimous decision as a -300 favorite.

Namajunas is 6-3 with five wins by submission. She last fought at UFC on Fox 24 in April, beating Michelle Waterson by submission as a -120 favorite.
