UFC 194 Betting: Aldo vs McGregor Odds

One of the most anticipated fight cards in the history of the UFC is set to go down this Saturday night when pound-for-pound No. 1 UFC Featherweight champion Jose Aldo meets newly crowned UFC Interim Featherweight champion Connor McGregor for the undisputed title.

UFC 194 will also see UFC Middleweight champion Chris Weidman defending his title against No. 1 contender Luke Rockhold.

McGregor and Aldo were supposed to have met back in July but an Aldo rib injury has delayed the fight until now. The line on the fight at online sportsbook Bovada has it handicapped very close, with McGregor listed as the slim -130 favorite, while action on Aldo will pay +100.

Has Aldo reached the end of his fighting career? That’s the one question needed to be answered in this fight. If he has, McGregor will roll over him. If Aldo can come into the fight in peak form it could be one of the best fights in UFC history. McGregor has surely gotten into Aldo’s head, but you’ll have to decide if he’s done it enough to affect Aldo’s performance.

The UFC 194 co-main event will feature the undefeated Middleweight champion Chris Weidman in the fourth defense of his title. Luke Rockhold has been an absolute beast over his last four fights and is handicapped as the slim +115 underdog. Action on the undefeated champ is coming with a -145 price at Bovada.

We have to go with the champ in this one. Rockhold should put up a good fight in the early going but we think Weidman will wear him down and finish him in the later rounds. Expect Weidman to take the fight to the ground early on and work ground-and-pound to gain an edge over his opponent.

UFC 194 will also see another highly anticipated, and closely handicapped, fight in the Middleweight division. Ronaldo Souza and Yoel Romero will battle for the next UFC Middleweight title shot some time in 2016. Odds have Souza listed as the -155 favorite while action on Romero will pay +125. This fight is a true pick’em and could go either way.
