UFC on FX 2 MMA Betting Preview

UFC on FX 2 will feature two semi-final fights in the Flyweight tournament and a Welterweight contender match between two lethal strikers. Also on the televised card, two rising stars in the Middleweight division will look to take a step closer to contention.

In the main event of UFC on FX 2, Welterweights Thiago Alves and Martin Kampmann find themselves on the outskirts of the division-contender picture following recent losses to top contenders. Both need a win to keep any title shot hopes alive, while a loss will almost completely push the loser out the 170-pound picture.

MMA Betting: UFC 143 Odds Preview

The hype in the UFC Welterweight division over the last six months has been by far the most dramatic in MMA. Following a St-Pierre injury the main event of UFC 143 has changed from a Georges St-Pierre title defense to an Interim title fight between two of the division’s top contenders, but that hasn’t slowed fan interest.

UFC 140: Jones Machida Betting

Jon Jones seems unbeatable in the light heavyweight division, and MMA bettors are backing him even though he’s a huge -450 favorite against challenger Lyota Machida.

Those are not the best UFC odds you’ll find at UFC 140 but it might be the safest bet at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre on December 10. The card features six Canadians and the legendary Nogueira brothers from Brazil.

MMA Betting: The Ultimate Fighter 14

Season 14 of The Ultimate Fighter has been one of the best productions in the history of the show.

The only thing that may have been more entertaining than all the exciting fights and devastating knockouts this season has been the banter between coaches Michael Bisping and Jason Miller.

Odds have been released on the matchup between the coaches, and as expected Bisping is handicapped as the favorite.

Arlovski, who held the UFC crown in 2005, faces Travis Fulton at the Wireless Center in Moline, Illinois and is a big -360 favorite at 5Dimes sportsbook:.

Sylvia meanwhile, who took the UFC belt from Arlovski back at UFC 59, will face German Andreas Kraniotakes. He had been scheduled to fight Pedro Rizzo.

GSP Headlines UFC 137 Odds

Jose Aldo defended his title, Frankie Edgar defended his title, Dominick Cruz defended his title, and Jon Jones did the same.

Georges St-Pierre will have to wait a few months to see if he can defend the welterweight belt against the Natural Born Killer, Carlos Condit. GSP was forced to withdraw after injuring his knee in the final week of training Oct. 18.

Best UFC 136 Odds on Maynard

Gray Maynard beat Frank Edgar and bullied him in the rematch, which was scored a draw.

That left the lightweight strap around Edgar’s waist and left Maynard with a shitty taste in his mouth. He is promising payback and a victory and he might be the best UFC 136 odds option on the board, at least among the favorites.

MMA Betting: UFC 136 Odds Preview

UFC 136 will go down this Saturday night with a stacked card full of great fights. In the main event Frank Edgar will defend his title for the second straight time against No. 1 contender Gray Maynard, and in the co-main event Jose Aldo defends his UFC Featherweight title against former Lightweight Kenny Florian.

MMA Odds: UFC Live 6 Betting

The UFC will put one of the best unknown fighters in the world on free television this Saturday night when Dominick Cruz steps into the Octagon to defend his UFC Bantamweight title against top contender Demetrious Johnson.

Cruz is coming off a successful rematch victory over Urijah Faber and already has wins over Joseph Benavidez and Brian Bowles, so Johnson, despite being ranked fourth in the division, is next in line for the title shot. Highly ranked on the pound-for-pound list, Cruz will come into the fight as a heavy favorite to retain his title.

MMA Betting: UFC 135 Odds Preview

It’s been over three years since Quinton Jackson was the UFC Light Heavyweight champion, and after a long road back to the top Rampage finally gets another shot at the title this Saturday night. However, standing in his way is the future of mixed martial arts, and current UFC Light Heavyweight champion, Jon “Bones” Jones.

UFC Fight Night Live MMA Betting Odds

Less than three weeks after losing his coach and father, Jake Shields will step into the Octagon against another top-ranked welterweight contender at UFC Fight Night Live.

Whether the personal loss motivates or deflates the former Strikeforce middleweight champion remains to be seen, but the one thing that’s for sure is that he’ll need to be at his best against Jake Ellenberger.

UFC 137 Odds: GSP now vs Condit

Nick Diaz’s loss has turned into Carlos Condit’s gain as the welterweight belt goes up for grabs at UFC 137.

And MMA bettors now seem to have a better matchup with The Natural Born Killer coming in as a smaller underdog than Strikeforce champion Diaz (+285 at Bodog sportsbook).

Diaz blew his shot at Georges St-Pierre’s title by missing two press conferences to promote the UFC 137 card, scheduled for Oct 29 at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. UFC boss Dana White yanked Diaz off the card and put Condit in.
